Construction Project Manager – On-Site

Irvine, California, United States (On-site)

Overview

I’m partnering with a well-established national commercial builder that’s looking for an experienced On-Site Project Manager in Irvine, CA. This role oversees projects from bid to completion, managing subcontractors, ensuring contract compliance, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day project operations from bid through closeout
• Review and prepare bids; evaluate subcontractor pricing and proposals
• Qualify, negotiate, and administer subcontractor agreements
• Process change orders and ensure contract documentation is accurate
• Coordinate with owners, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Lead project meetings and support scheduling and planning efforts
• Assist with estimating and maintaining project documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
• 3–5 years of commercial project management experience (healthcare, retail or multifamily preferred)
• Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills
• Based near Irvine, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with retail, multifamily, or other commercial projects
• Familiarity with subcontractor negotiation and change order processes
• Understanding of on-site construction workflows and safety practices
