Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled AV Production Manager to join our team and help drive the next phase of our expansion.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to help oversee the technical and operational aspects of our high-end events. The ideal candidate will not only have deep technical expertise in Audio Video production and streaming technology but will also be an analytical thinker capable of helping us implement a new sales structure and create streamlined technical operating procedures to optimize our workflows and client delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of full-scale AV Productions, ensuring smooth execution from pre-production to live events.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, technical support) to deliver high-quality services.
  • Oversee the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of AV equipment for all levels of events.

Sales Structure Implementation:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to design and implement a sales strategy and structure to enhance client acquisition and retention.
  • Create tools and documentation for the sales team to better articulate technical capabilities and ensure seamless integration between sales and production.

Process Development:

  • Develop and implement standardized technical operating procedures for all productions, focusing on efficiency and scalability.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices across technical workflows and client interactions.
  • Establish quality control protocols to ensure top-tier performance on all projects.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Manage and mentor a team of technicians, ensuring they have the tools and training necessary to execute all production needs, including live streaming.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure that all projects meet deadlines, budgets, and client specifications.

Client & Stakeholder Communication:

  • Function as the main point of contact for clients during the production phase, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Ensure clear communication and proper documentation for all technical aspects of the project.

Experience:

  1. 5 to 7+ years of experience in AV production, with a strong focus on live event production, corporate AV, and streaming.
  2. Previous experience in a managerial role, ideally overseeing both production teams and sales structures.
  3. Expert knowledge of AV equipment, live event production, streaming platforms, video encoding/decoding, and multi camera productions.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong technical aptitude and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in real-time.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools like Dante, Mitti, vMix, OBS Studio or similar streaming software.
  • Experience developing and documenting operational processes and best practices.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with sales teams to refine strategies and improve operational efficiency.
