Description:
The Cloud Security Consultant leads the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms security. The Cloud Security Consultant work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. Facilitate the creation of clear, concise, and easy to access technology security standards, patterns, secure configurations to provide engineering teams with tactical direction for achieving the enterprise security strategy and perform security reviews. Clearly communicate and evangelize the value associated with adhering to the security strategy and corresponding standards.
Create visibility and build awareness of the gap between current state security implementation versus future state architecture and advocate for gaps to be filled. This work includes ensuring engineering, implementation and operation teams understand the security architecture standards to which they must adhere. Strong communication skills for creating and sharing presentations to multiple levels of audiences of stakeholder. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Must have comprehensive experience with Azure and GCP cloud providers and their capabilities
5+ years of experience architecting cloud solutions in Azure and GCP
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
