General Manager

Position Overview
The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the business operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability in the meat and poultry processing and manufacturing sectors. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and operational management to drive the company's success and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to improve productivity and efficiency in processing and manufacturing operations.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including overseeing production, quality control, and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team to achieve operational goals.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze budgets, and implement cost control measures to ensure profitability.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role within the food processing or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of meat and poultry processing, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships at all levels.
