Base pay range $13.00/hr – $13.00/hr Job Summary The department of art is seeking figure drawing models. This position entails holding poses for predetermined periods (1-20 min) as part of drawing/painting courses. Responsibilities Comfortable holding poses for an extended period of time. Work with specific studio art classes, posing as a subject for drawings/paintings. Models work under faculty and staff supervision; students are prohibited from using any photographic or video devices during model sessions. Logged sessions scheduled in advance; arrive promptly for scheduled sessions. Communicate with the hiring manager in case of illness or unforeseen scheduling conflict. Required on an as-needed basis, typically 3-6 hours per week, with possible variation. Expected to lead the evening figure drawing sessions. Models may have their likeness reproduced and sold.
