Description We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Consultant to oversee the final stages of a Workday Payroll implementation and provide steady support post-go-live. This Contract-to-permanent position is based in New Berlin, Wisconsin, and plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless payroll operations and system functionality. The ideal candidate will bring extensive Workday Payroll expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams effectively. Responsibilities: Deliver expert support to the Payroll department during and following the Workday Payroll implementation. Manage and resolve Workday-related support tickets, addressing payroll errors, process inefficiencies, and configuration requests. Perform limited configuration tasks in Workday Payroll, such as setting up business processes, calculated fields, and validations. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and implement tailored solutions within Workday. Conduct testing activities, including creating test cases, executing them, and resolving any issues identified. Ensure compliance by supporting payroll auditing, reporting, and regulatory requirements through Workday. Act as a key liaison between Payroll, HR, and IT teams to maintain system alignment and data integrity. Provide guidance on best practices for using Workday Payroll to optimize functionality and efficiency. Contribute to knowledge sharing by creating documentation and facilitating knowledge transfer to ensure long-term success. Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Workday, with a strong focus on Workday Payroll. Proven track record of providing operational support for Workday systems, including ticket triage and resolution. Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll configuration, including setup of business processes and validations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address system and process challenges effectively. Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and accountability in a remote setting. Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration among Payroll, HR, and IT teams. Prior involvement in a Workday implementation project is highly preferred.
