IDR is rapidly expanding our Recruiting & Account Management teams in all offices. Both Recruiting and Account Management are sales roles, the main difference is who you are selling to. Recruiters connect with talent, while Account Managers are on the B2B side interacting with businesses. Both roles work in unison to fulfill our clients’ needs. We start everyone in the recruiter role with the opportunity to progress in either recruiting or account management.

The Role of a Recruiter:

  • To sum it up, the goal of a recruiter is to find and attract top technical talent to meet the needs of our clients. The technical staffing industry is extremely competitive so it’s all about building relationships and staying connected with the top talent in the market.

The Role of an Account Manager:

  • Our Account Managers are leading the charge on new Business Development efforts and selling our services to companies of all shapes and sizes. Once a client base is established, the Account Manager acts as the liaison between the end client and the recruiting team.
  • If B2B Sales is your ultimate goal, we offer a Sales Development Representative training program that you can enter into as early as six months into your employment at IDR.
