Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Enrollment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate has a working knowledge of online insurance enrollment tools and electronic insurance enrollment file formats, as well as experience in dental or medical office insurance billing. A strong understanding of Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and Brokers is highly preferred. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate enrollment and billing records, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:45AM-5PM
Salary: $21 - $22/hourly
Location: Concord, NH (on-site)
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain accurate enrollment data based on underwriting, eligibility, and group contract criteria.
- Serve as a resource for group representatives, subscribers, and internal stakeholders regarding enrollment processing, billing policies, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and letter, providing information on underwriting, eligibility, and the Group Admin Portal.
- Facilitate eBilling for risk business, educate groups, resolve errors, and manage billing processes including preparation, mailing, collections, and claim adjustments.
- Conduct billing audits, process adjustments, and coordinate monthly billing with internal teams, risk groups, and external vendors.
- Perform enrollment audits, update eligibility records, and analyze reports to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with TPAs and employer groups to resolve discrepancies and update records.
- Investigate and resolve rejected eligibility-related claims, update rate codes, and communicate status updates to relevant parties.
- Administer Continuation of Coverage (COC) and student certification processes , ensuring timely updates and notifications.
- Run and analyze reports to track dependent eligibility and process necessary updates.
- Scan and attach enrollee-related documents to subscriber records and inspect ID cards for quality, escalating issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience with online insurance enrollment tools and electronic enrollment file formats.
- Background in dental or medical office insurance billing.
- Familiarity with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and Brokers.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to analyze and resolve billing and enrollment discrepancies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise system software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in healthcare or insurance administration.
