Job Title: Meter Reader – $18.89/hr | Full-Time | Great Entry into Utility Industry!
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Pay: $18.89 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, Day Shift Some Saturdays
Summer schedule: 6:30AM-3PM
Winter schedule: 7AM-3:30PM
Type: Contract-to-Hire (Opportunity for Permanent Placement!)

What You’ll Do:
Accurately read and record electric meter readings across designated routes
Maintain productivity and efficiency standards daily
Walk up to 15 miles or drive a company vehicle to complete meter routes
Inspect meters for damage, defects, or signs of tampering
Use handheld electronic devices to track and record information
Ensure safety and professionalism while interacting with customers and the public
What We’re Looking For:
Must be physically able to walk for most of your shift
Valid New Mexico Driver’s License with a clean record
Ability to work independently and follow route instructions
A professional, reliable, and safety-first mindset
