The Pack Indoor Dog Park in Comstock Park, MI is looking for one dog daycare attendant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged. This unique role that’s a blend of lifeguard and camp counselor is sure to keep you on your toes (or paws!) Responsibilities Work with our daycare and dog park dogs to ensure safety and satisfaction Check in customers and confirm up to date vaccination records and payment for services Keep facilities clean Receive on the job training to read dog body language and redirect poor play behavior as needed Write daily report cards for daycare dogs along with pictures from their day Help with occasional park events such as: just for fun dog shows, breed nights, holiday themed parties, etc. Qualifications Enjoys working with all types of dogs in a fun and interactive environment Able to communicate effectively Will treat all fellow employees and customers with respect Able to speak fluent English Able to lift at least 40 pounds without assistance Must be at least 18 years old due to alcohol service on site Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work Must be able to work weekend shifts. Must be able to work at least 15 hours per week. Customer service or dog daycare experience preferred, but not required We are looking forward to hearing from you.
