Our firm is in search of a criminal defense attorney in O'Fallon, MO, who is adept at navigating court proceedings, building relationships with clients, and conducting consultations with potential clients. Compensation:

$70,000 - $105,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Managing a caseload based on jurisdictions, with primary responsibility for all activities in assigned cases.
  • Conducting evidentiary hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
  • Meeting clients to discuss discovery, negotiate pleas, and provide case updates.
  • Communicating with prosecutors, judges, and court representatives for case progression.
  • Participating in docket calls in state and municipal courts for case management.
  • Conducting legal investigations, preparing documents, and offering legal advice.
  • Handling consultations with leads and assisting in client sign-ups.
  • Attending legal proceedings, performing legal analysis, and collaborating with experienced lawyers.
  • Collaborating with clients and colleagues to seek case resolutions.
  • Analyzing legal disputes, counseling clients, and negotiating on their behalf.
  • Managing case files to ensure updates are accessible to legal team members.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role in O'Fallon, MO, US will be a highly organized individual who takes responsibility for their work and demonstrates honesty.

  • Holding a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is a requirement.
