We are seeking an experienced Content Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will develop content and material that aligns with ongoing marketing campaigns and initiatives. This includes developing content for emails, blogs, articles, press releases, web content, marketing collateral, technical documents, case studies, and white papers. As a Content Specialist at Laser Photonics, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communications that drive business growth while providing value to our customers and moving us toward our goals. The individual must be highly motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
What you'll do:
Support the sales department by assisting in the development of training presentations, cheat sheets, and other resources to aid in the sales process
Work with the marketing team to develop strategic and tactical marketing plans for specific industries
Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns when needed
Draft copy that abides by brand standards for email, social media, web pages, press releases and more
Work closely with the content manager to fill any gaps in the team
Edit and proofread content that is tailored for different channels
Drafting and distributing press releases
Monitor media for relevant news and occurrences media relations experience that include pitching and media lists
What you'll bring:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or public relations (or related field)
Previous experience in Industrial B2B marketing
Experience with content creation and working with industry publications
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong editing and proofreading skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work well in teams
Experience working in Outlook
Experience developing content for a wide variety of channels
AP style proficient
