We’re looking for a dedicated and energetic Entry-Level Communications Assistant to join our team and help lead our public engagement and event-based outreach efforts.

Your Role at a Glance:
As a Communications Assistant, you'll play an important part in helping our organization connect with the public through community events, informational sessions, and public programs. You’ll help coordinate logistics, prepare outreach materials, and represent our team at face-to-face engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination: Assist with organizing, setting up, and staffing events like town halls, workshops, public meetings, and community fairs.
Public Engagement: Act as a friendly and informed representative of our organization, engaging with attendees, answering questions, and gathering feedback.
Outreach Material Preparation: Help create and organize printed materials such as flyers, brochures, signs, and handouts for public events.
Community Scheduling: Coordinate event logistics by confirming times, venues, and partner participation.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to ensure consistent and effective messaging at every event.
Post-Event Follow-Up: Assist in collecting feedback, compiling contact lists, and contributing to event reports to measure outreach success.

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Community Development, or related field is a plus—but not required
