We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing all stages of our commercial construction projects, from initial planning to completion. You will be working primarily on self-storage facilities, managing concrete and structural work, tilt-up and tilt-wall construction. This role requires a deep understanding of the construction process and the ability to manage and coordinate teams on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard.
• Supervise onsite activities, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety regulations and project specifications.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality workmanship.
• Manage and mitigate project risks, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met and any changes are effectively communicated and managed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, reports, and schedules.
• Ensure site cleanliness and organization, adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in self-storage, concrete, structural, tilt-up, and tilt-wall construction.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to direct and coordinate onsite teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and managing project risks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Proficient in using construction management software and technology.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Must hold relevant certifications and licenses as required by local and state laws.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in a variety of weather conditions.
