Shift : Days Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Promotes cross-training and back-up capabilities among office and infusion staff.
Provides management support for clinical staff, with a working knowledge of their responsibilities and expectations.
Functions as a hands-on resource for infusion nurses to ensure smooth transitions and follow-ups to complaints.
Maintains an active pool of prn nurses for staffing assistance.
Participates in community and hospital meetings, including Cancer Committee, Nursing Council, Management Action Council, and Cancer Conferences. Collaborates with Physician Office Compliance personnel and Department Director regarding the Quality program.
Maintains personnel files with current competence, licensure, and counseling records.
Works within budgetary constraints, promoting effective work habits and productivity.
Maintains current policy and procedure development and review, ensuring staff input on key areas.
Maintains knowledge of current expectations of regulatory bodies: TJC, State position is located, Commission on Cancer, NAPBC, any other accreditations and CMS.
