Job Summary
The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day back-office staffing operations of HarborCHC health centers. This role ensures the efficient coordination of clinical workflows, the safe provision of quality patient care, and effective support for medical providers. The Clinical Manager will lead, manage and supervise the back-office team, including Lead Medical Assistants, Medical Assistants (MAs) and lab technicians, and will support the implementation of new and existing services. This position includes a strong managerial component, including active responsibility for participation in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, employee performance management, and corrective action for back-office staff.

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust.
Hours: HarborCHC is open Monday – Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm, Friday and Saturday 8am-5pm. This is a full-time, exempt position, and the employee is expected to work approximately 40 hours per week. Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required, as business needs dictate.
