Our Client; A specialized construction company looking for a full-time Construction Accountant / Bookkeeper to perform daily accounting tasks and support our corporate growth, reporting directly to the owner. Great opportunity in the Aberdeen area!!

Pay range of $65,000 - 75,000 plus bonus potential, vacation/sick time, full-time M-F, in-office.

Responsibilities

• Create and send subcontracts and purchase orders to our subs.
• Maintain subcontractor files by job.
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
• Create weekly reports for CFO and owner.
• Maintain digital records for accounting and job costing.
• Perform job costing on all construction projects.
• Process accounts payable in a timely manner including verifying purchase order and job.
• Monthly receivable billings to our customers
• Monthly reconciliations as requested.
• Administrative support for licensing and permitting as needed.

Skills

• Work experience as a bookkeeper / accountant in the construction or other service related industry
• Great with technology, forward thinking, good in fast-paced work environments
• Experience with Construction Accounting
• Ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Organization skills and strong work ethic
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
