Warehouse Supervisor
Pay Rate: $52,000/ year ( $25/hr)
Location: NE Houston 77049
Report to Warehouse Manager

Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. This role requires strong leadership, process discipline, and cross-functional coordination.

• Supervise warehouse staff and assign daily tasks to meet operational goals
• Ensure accurate receiving, inventory control, and outbound shipments
• Maintain and enforce warehouse SOPs, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate with transportation, customer service, and compliance teams to meet deadlines
• Oversee equipment use, maintenance schedules, and facility upkeep
• Train new hires and support ongoing staff development
• Manage exceptions such as damages, delays, or returns
• Document operational activities and support reporting requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or supply chain experience preferred
• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership
• Familiarity with WMS systems, Excel, and basic reporting tools
• Strong understanding of safety standards (e.g., OSHA)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English and Chinese) is a plus depending on operational scope
