Job Overview:
We're seeking a results-driven Logistics & Warehouse Operations Supervisor for a growing 3rd party logistics provider in Albany, NY. This is a working supervisor role ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, warehouse operations expertise, and a hands-on approach to driving team success.

$58,000 – $72,000 per year

Tasks:
Supervise and actively participate in warehouse operations including loading/unloading, inventory, and power equipment usage
Lead by example and ensure staff meets daily, weekly, and monthly goals
Monitor performance levels, coach team members, and provide constructive feedback
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety of the warehouse
Receive deliveries, verify shipments, and address discrepancies or damages
Operate forklifts and other power equipment (Class 1, 2 & 3)
Communicate with leadership and customer service to resolve issues
Train and develop team members, share best practices, and lead special projects
Keep inventory of supplies and manage reorders
Qualifications:
Minimum 1+ years supervising 8 or more employees (Required)
4+ years general warehouse experience (Required)
High school diploma or GED (Required)
Forklift Certification – Class 1, 2, & 3 (Required)
Experience with Warehouse Management Software (WMS) (Required)
Ability to lift heavy items, multitask, and work extended hours as needed
Strong attention to detail, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with flexibility based on business needs)
