Role Summary:  

The Video Editor and Podcast Producer will be responsible for editing and optimizing engaging social media video content, producing high-quality podcast episodes, and managing the technical aspects of YouTube and SEO strategy. This role demands a mix of technical expertise, creative vision, and organizational skills to ensure our content reaches and resonates with our target audience. 

Key Responsibilities:  

Video Editing for Social Media:  

• Edit short-form video content for social media platforms, including Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook. 
• Create dynamic, visually engaging videos aligned with the Brand Builders Group’s style and tone. 
• Add captions, transitions, music, and graphics to maximize audience engagement. 
• Stay updated on social media video trends and incorporate best practices into content creation. 

YouTube Content Management:  

• Edit, upload, and optimize long-form video content for YouTube, ensuring videos are SEO-friendly. 
• Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to maximize video visibility and organic growth. 
• Create eye-catching thumbnails, titles, and descriptions for YouTube videos. 
• Analyze YouTube analytics to track performance and recommend improvements. 

Podcast Production:  

• Oversee end-to-end production of Brand Builders Group podcasts, including audio editing, sound design, and final episode delivery. 
• Manage podcast publishing schedules and ensure all episodes are released on time. 
• Optimize podcast descriptions, titles, and tags for SEO purposes. 
• Coordinate with podcast guests for scheduling, recording, and promotional content creation. 

Collaboration & Strategy:  

• Work closely with the marketing and content teams to align video and podcast content with the overall brand strategy. 
• Assist in brainstorming and planning campaigns that integrate video and podcast content. 
• Provide regular updates on performance metrics and suggest data-driven optimizations. 

Qualifications:  

Required Skills & Experience:  

• 3+ years of video editing experience, particularly with short-form content for social media. 
• Expertise in YouTube content creation, management, and SEO optimization. 
• Proven experience in podcast production, including audio editing and publishing. 
• Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent). 
• Proficiency with audio editing tools (Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar). 
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator for thumbnail creation. 
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. 

Preferred Skills & Traits:  

• Knowledge of video and audio equipment for virtual and on-site recording. 
• Understanding of social media algorithms and trends. 
• Creative storyteller with the ability to turn raw content into compelling narratives. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams. 
• Experience working with personal brands or content-driven businesses is a plus.
