The successful candidate will play a vital role in all aspects of sourcing and executing Real Estate transactions and maintaining strategic dialog with clients. The candidate will be responsible for managing and executing a wide range of complex transactions. He or she will also play a critical role in developing junior professionals.**Key Responsibilities:*** Utilize real estate sector expertise in developing presentations, term sheets and financial models to analyze clients financial situations, financing, and M&A opportunities* Manage deal execution and project management throughout the lifecycle of a transaction* Construct detailed M&A and joint venture models and provide any necessary financial and statistical analysis* Conduct deep industry and company-specific due diligence* Oversee and/or assist in the preparation of business valuations* Provide timely support to cross-functional teams such as Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, and Corporate Risk Solutions* Create presentation materials and actively participate in client discussions* Work independently to deliver presentations and client follow-up requests on a timely basis* Guide junior bankers in the preparation of pitchbooks and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, management presentations, ad-hoc analysis, due diligence, and the building of financial models* Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients* Interact with senior TD Securities team members and client management teams on a daily basis to successfully execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives**Qualifications:**Candidates must have a strong background in investment banking underpinned by solid quantitative and analytical skills. He or she should be able to think creatively about a range of strategic issues confronting the firms clients and have an exceptional grasp on accounting, valuation, finance, and business strategy. Specific qualifications include:* 5+ years of investment banking experience; Real Estate industry experience is strongly preferred* Excellent analytical and modeling skills with a vast knowledge of finance and accounting principles* Expertise in all phases of project management and deal execution with an established track record* Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional setting* Assist with idea generation and deal sourcing, when appropriate* Able to provide direction and leadership to build a strong team environment* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills* Bachelors degree from a leading university* Series 79 and 63 preferred**Who We Are**TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.
