Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric Acute RN with a current RN license and PALS certification for a rural Arizona hospital assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a pediatric acute care unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes pediatric patients with acute medical needs
• Shift options include 0800-1830 or 1800-0830, with 6-7 shifts per pay period
• 13-week assignment duration
• Orientation provided every 2 weeks
• Position is located in a very rural area with shared housing options available for $600/month based on availability
• No family members or pets allowed in provided housing
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted with proper documentation
• Diverse, multidisciplinary team with a culturally rich work environment
• Must submit housing application at least 2 weeks prior to start date
• Traveler is responsible for transportation and living arrangements if housing is unavailable

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active RN license in any U.S. state or territory
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (can be completed within 6 months of hire)
• Must complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire
• Fingerprinting required prior to start
