Johnson Controls Industrial Refrigeration North America manufactures and services industrial refrigeration systems globally, including CO2 cascade and ammonia components, screw and reciprocating compressor packages, ASME certified pressure vessels, heat exchangers, evaporators, condensers, and complete control systems. The Industrial Refrigeration Training Specialist role requires industry experience on refrigeration equipment and operation. Responsibilities include developing training material and delivering it to customers through presentations and training curriculums. The position requires travel across North America to collaborate with internal teams and deliver training courses to customers. Duties include providing technical training on proper utilization of products and industry best practices, partnering with stakeholders to develop and maintain training curriculum and materials, managing training materials on the company learning management system, serving as a subject matter expert, and investigating new training opportunities. The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, aligning training with product launches and business strategies, and maintaining knowledge of trends in learning design and sales enablement. Required qualifications include a minimum of 5+ years of technical experience in Industrial Refrigeration Controls, Equipment, and/or system operation, strong computer skills, ability to develop presentations, proficiency in explaining technical and non-technical concepts, and willingness to travel 25-50%. Preferred qualifications include strong connections with industrial refrigeration contractors in the US, advanced computer skills, and experience operating refrigeration systems in Cold Storage or Processing plants.
