Description
Performs non-destructive tests (NDT) on aircraft components. Inspects metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts, and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods and techniques including radiography (RT), ultrasound (UT), penetrant (PT), eddy current (ET), infrared (IR), and magnetic particle. Requires certifications in non-destructive testing in accordance with regulations and company Procedures and Policies. § Know and understand company policies and safety procedures. § Know and understand departmental policies and safety procedures. § Clean/mask/prepare parts for NDT inspection daily. § Move parts into & out from the NDT area daily. § Assist other inspectors with performing inspections. § Maintain a clean and neat work environment. § Perform other duties & assignments, as required.
