Position Overview
The Technical Delivery Manager, Payments will be providing direction for the product engineering, development, design, and systems integration for IPS products and client engagement throughout the implementation lifecycle. The Technical Product Delivery Manager, Payments will also be utilizing product knowledge to support our payments platforms. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual, with a good technical understanding of web and mobile applications, has strong experience in working with teams on internal / external facing products and projects and interacting with stakeholders, design, and technical team members to get things done.
Job Description
· Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic technical program plans that align with organizational objectives and foster seamless collaboration.
· Ensure transparency and alignment by delivering clear, consistent progress updates to senior leadership, executives, project teams, and stakeholders, effectively communicating program goals, milestones, timelines, and performance metrics.
· Oversee end-to-end product delivery and support, including prioritization, mobilization of cross-functional teams, milestone tracking, resource planning, risk mitigation, and issue resolution, to drive successful business and customer outcomes.
· Apply deep technical expertise to guide technical decisions, identify and mitigate risks, and serve as a trusted thought partner to Product and Engineering counterparts.
· Initiate projects, coordinating with stakeholders, product, and engineering teams to develop and execute project and roll-out plans.
· Centralize and ensure the maintenance of all program-related documentation for easy accessibility.
· Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure products are delivered on schedule and meet quality expectations.
· Proactively identify potential impediments early, work actively to resolve them, and escalate issues when necessary.
· Monitor and report on KPIs in collaboration with Product and Engineering Managers, ensuring transparency and alignment on performance metrics.
· Prepare and present status reports for senior leadership and provide clear visibility and regular communication on delivery targets, commitments, and progress to all stakeholders.
Requirements
· 10 +years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery in Payment domain.
· Technical Skills
· Expertise in ACH, credit/debit card processing, real-time payments (RTP), and mobile wallets.
· Understanding of payment gateways, APIs, and integration patterns.
· Integration with ERP, CIS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle CC&B).
· Knowledge of PCI DSS, GDPR, regulations.
· APIs for partner and third-party integrations.
· Awareness of fraud detection mechanisms and encryption standards.
· Chargeback and dispute resolution processes.
· Understanding of system architecture, scalability, and disaster recovery planning.

· Management Skills
· Proficiency in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Knowledge of tools like JIRA
· Expertise in managing complex payment projects using frameworks like PMP
· Strong communication skills for requirement gathering and alignment.
· Rapid response to incidents and proactive risk identification.
· Clear articulation of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong documentation skills for reports, user stories, and Issue submissions.
