Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Baton Rouge or New Orleans, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, along with a strong understanding of tax compliance and regulations. Responsibilities: - Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with precision and adherence to regulations. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws while identifying potential savings opportunities. - Analyze financial data to accurately calculate tax liabilities and deductions. - Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and address any inquiries related to their tax filings. - Stay updated on changes in tax laws and apply them to current and future filings. - Provide guidance and support to entry level staff members in the preparation and review process. - Conduct thorough reviews of completed tax returns to verify accuracy and compliance. - Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise during tax preparation. - Communicate with clients to clarify complex tax matters and provide solutions. - Maintain organized records and documentation for all tax-related activities.
