Key Responsibilities:
As a Remote Tax Manager, you will:
Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and accurately in a paperless environment.
Oversee and review complex tax returns, particularly 1065 filings, 1031 exchanges, special allocations, cost segregation studies, and partnership agreements.
Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide strategic solutions to clients.
Supervise and mentor project teams, ensuring that high standards of quality and client service are met.
Manage accounts receivable and collaborate with clients to address their unique needs.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members, offering both positive and constructive feedback to foster a supportive and collaborative work environment.
What We're Looking For:
Active CPA license is required.
5+ years of recent public accounting experience, including work in a paperless environment, reviewing complex returns, and managing client engagements.
Experience with real estate and construction clients, including 1065 returns, 1031 exchanges, and cost segregation studies.
A high level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and tax software (experience with CCH Axcess & Engagement is a plus).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
A collaborative approach to work, with a focus on sharing knowledge and continuously learning from others.
Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to both give and receive feedback in a constructive manner.
