This Medical Assistant is responsible for administrative as well as clinical tasks , such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Tasks may include appoint scheduling, answering, and returning patient calls, and coordinating daily office activities . This position conveys a positive image of the office and provides information as needed to ensure patients are aware of all benefits of the office.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
2. Medical Assistant Certification, preferred.
3. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
4. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
5. Work experience in health care preferred.
