The Hardware Engineering team is at the forefront of designing, developing, and producing cutting-edge hardware solutions. Utilizing state-of-the-art tools, processes, technologies, and our CORE operating principles, our expertise spans a wide range of disciplines, including mechanical and electrical engineering, manufacturing, technical services, materials science, structural and thermal analysis, testing, and documentation.
Within Hardware Engineering, the Advanced Airframes Department is seeking a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineering Lead to coordinate and manage all Mechanical Disciplines across a suite of Advanced Technologies programs. The candidate will work with and advise the Chief Engineer and Program Management on technical execution. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in effector hardware design, team leadership, and program execution throughout the development lifecycle.
This is an onsite role located in Tucson, AZ.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
