SLPs help residents find their voice again—whether it’s expressing needs, holding conversations, or simply enjoying a meal. Through deep collaboration with the care team, they tailor treatment that restores vital connections between communication, identity, and quality of life.

*Speech Language Pathologist Requirements and Responsibilities*
* Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program
* Current state license and ASHA certification (as applicable)
* Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
* Evaluate speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing function
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
* Maintain accurate records and ensure alignment with physician directives
