Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Remote Assessments: Utilize cutting-edge teletherapy technology to perform detailed assessments and evaluations for students, ensuring accurate results and individualized support.
Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Develop customized therapy plans based on each student's unique needs, using evidence-based practices to deliver effective speech and language interventions.
Collaborate for Student Success: Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to student progress and goal-setting. Regular communication helps monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Maintain Accurate Documentation: Keep thorough and accurate records of therapy sessions, student progress, and relevant reports. Consistent documentation ensures compliance and supports ongoing student development.
Stay Current in the Field: Continuously improve your skills by staying up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in speech-language pathology, ensuring the best possible outcomes for students.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program.
Licensing: A valid state SLP licensure or eligibility to work as an SLP in the state of practice is required.
Certifications (Preferred): ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though not required.
Experience: Previous experience working with children in school or clinical settings is highly desired. Experience with teletherapy or remote learning platforms is a plus, though not mandatory.
