Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our supportive and dynamic team. If you’re someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of elderly patients, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide speech therapy services for home health patients, with a focus on improving communication and swallowing abilities
• Collaborate with a fantastic team of RNs and PTs, managing a caseload of 4 patients per day on average
• Work with elderly Medicare patients, delivering personalized care plans
• Handle a variety of cases, including ortho, medication management, wound care, disease education, and elective surgeries
• Keep accurate records using Oasis and Homecare Homebase

What’s in the Schedule:

• You’ll be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM
• There may be occasional weekend shifts (1-2 weekends per month)
• No on-call duties – you can fully unplug outside of working hours!
• Guaranteed 40 hours each week

What We’re Looking For:

• An active California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License
• BLS Certification
• At least 2 years of experience in speech therapy (with a preference for background in hospital critical care or home health)
• Must have recent experience (within the last year) in the specialty
• A flexible, positive, and eager-to-learn personality who’s ready to dive in and make a difference

Compensation Details:

• Hourly Rate: $34.00
• Overtime Rate: $51.00 (if applicable)
• Per Diem:
• Lodging: $1,281.00
• Meals: $602.00
• Total Per Diems: $1,883.00
• Gross Weekly Estimate: $3,243.00
