Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our team and contribute to the development of externally shareable metrics dashboards. This project aims to replace our current dashboard system with a more suitable solution that can facilitate the sharing of dashboards with our customers. The intern will be responsible for various aspects of this project, including data processing, data synchronization, metrics calculation, frontend chart development, data security, and access control.

Responsibilities:

• Data Processing and Synchronization: Assist in the processing and synchronization of data to ensure that the dashboards are up-to-date and accurate.
• Metrics Calculation: Develop or contribute to the development of metrics calculation algorithms to ensure that the dashboards provide meaningful insights.
• Frontend Chart Development: Develop and maintain frontend charts using modern web technologies to ensure the dashboards are visually appealing and user-friendly.
• Data Security and Access Control: Implement and maintain data security measures to ensure that the dashboards are secure and that access is controlled appropriately.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the team and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution.

Required Skills:

• MS or PhD student in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in software development, preferably in a web environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Superset, Tableau, or other similar platforms).
• Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js ).
• Understanding of data security and access control principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

$19 - $65 an hour

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
