Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled factory worker with experience working with materials such as glass, lucite, and mirrors, particularly in the context of custom closet production. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling, cutting, assembling, and installing specialty components including drawers, glass, mirrors, and lucite, while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various machinery and tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and specialized equipment for working with glass, lucite, and mirrors.
  • Assemble and install components, including drawers, hardware, and specialty materials, according to technical drawings and work orders.
  • Handle and cut glass, lucite, and mirrors with precision and safety.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet design specifications and high-quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and goals.
  • Participate in training to further develop skills, particularly in working with specialty materials.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or working with specialty materials like glass, lucite, or mirrors is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret designs and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic math skills and ability to measure materials accurately.
  • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16".
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
