We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant to join our client-growing team. In this role, you will oversee financial transactions for multiple properties, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and the financial health of property management operations. With your expertise in accounting principles and property management, you will be key in driving financial accuracy and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining financial records, conducting cash flow analyses, and assisting with budgeting processes. You will generate detailed financial reports for institutional clients and internally owned properties, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. The role also involves preparing bank reconciliations, managing cash flow, and overseeing the release of payments. Also, you will handle annual CAM reconciliations, leasing commission billing, and tenant improvement coordination.
This position requires proficiency in financial software such as MRI or Yardi, and experience with GAAP compliance is essential. Mentoring junior staff and collaborating with various departments to streamline processes will also be part of your responsibilities.
Our client offers a competitive salary of $85,000–$95,000 per year and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance and paid time off. This is a full-time, in-person position with a Monday-to-Friday schedule.
