Long-term, part-time Executive Assistant needed to support the president of a prestigious transportation company onsite every day in a beautiful office near Union Station.
The Midtown Group has been exclusively selected to fulfill a long-term, part time Executive Assistant role for one of the nation's top transportation organizations. The selected candidate will support the new President of the company.
Ideal candidates will be up for working from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. or so and be willing to pick up a few extra hours, as needed. They will also be comfortable making it into the office every day. This is a 100% onsite / in office position.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
This position provides high level administrative support to the President’s Office to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the day-to-day operation of the office. Maintains records of all expenses incurred by the President. Composes, edits, and assists in preparation of all correspondence. Coordinates travel arrangements, schedule and calendar. Procures office equipment & supplies while adhering to budgeting guidelines. Will assist in coordinating town halls and assist in preparing presentations when needed. Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as Executive Vice Presidents, and Senior Leadership. Handles confidential and non-routine information.
This office is based in Washington, DC. next to Union Station.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree required OR equivalent combination of training, education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Significant professional secretarial and/or administrative experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
EA candidates with C-Level support experience and an interest in a long-term, part-time role are encouraged to apply ASAP.
