As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic retail and mall environment, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for visitors, employees, and tenants. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to everyone at the location. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises as required.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and observing activity within the retail environment.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and communicate observations or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
