Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Distribution Center is located in La Crosse, WI. The 455,000 square foot facility supplies products for all 800+ Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, and Tobacco Outlet-Plus Grocery locations. The Distribution Center operates 24/7, 365 days per year with 650+ co-workers on two primary shifts.
Join our Seasonal Distribution Center crew where you will be responsible for accurately pulling orders in our Distribution Center within our dry, cooler, and freezer locations to support to our retail locations. The position involves using a Power Pallet Jack, Stand on Fork Lift, some hand stacking. Note: This co-worker will work in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
This position offers a $5 an hour premium for working weekends (7:30pm Friday through 6:59am on Monday) as well as a $2 premium for working overnights.
Qualifications:
Physical qualifications: lift/carry up to 60 pounds to 60 inches, 40 pounds to 72 inches, and 20 pounds to 82”; push/pull 60 pounds of force; bend, twist, reach, stoop frequently; work in -20 – 90+ degree F temperatures
Work Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Friday, Saturday and Sunday or a combination of 2 of those 3 days, mainly overnights. This schedule does include holidays as well. Candidates are required to commit to 3 weekends of availability per month and with the potential to work 40+ hours per week during busy times (summer months).
