Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and fluency disorders while developing individualized IEPs.
Provide direct therapy, monitor student progress, and adjust strategies as necessary.
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and staff to promote communication development.
Conduct screenings, maintain accurate records, and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions.
Advocate for students, educate staff, and pursue continuous professional development.
Qualifications & Benefits:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or a related field.
Iowa Teaching Certification (optional).
Iowa SLP license (required).
ASHA CCC-SLP Certification.
This is a 1099 position with school hours.
Hourly Rate: $45-$50 (consistent across direct/indirect hours and planning periods).
