What you will do

In this vital role, you will be a part of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team within Cybersecurity and Digital Trust (CDT). You will be responsible for enabling Information Technology Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance, collaborating with various internal partners to develop, maintain, and improve Amgen’s Information Compliance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the SAP GRC Controls Management and Compliance function

  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the SAP GRC environment

  • Coordinate, collaborate, and communicate with IT personnel to ensure IS SOX process compliance

  • In charge of working with process owners, internal, and external auditors for our quarterly certification process

  • Collaborate and support SOX evidence requests from Internal and External Audit teams

  • Develop and promote educational resources to facilitate understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act

  • Review and analyze SOX systems for SOX applicability and ensure all components are accounted for

  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure and experience in ITIL and SDLC

  • Assess risks of IT audit findings, identify controls, and integrate into IT process framework for improvement

  • Map regulatory requirements across functions for compliance and audit response efficiencies

What we expect of you

We are looking for a professional with:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in Information Systems OR
  • Associate’s degree and 6 years of experience OR
  • High school diploma/GED and 8 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of IT audit or IT compliance experience
  • Working knowledge of Information Governance and Security principles
  • Experience with IT frameworks and methodologies
  • 3+ years in health, biotechnology/pharma or regulated industries
  • Working experience with GRC tools
