Job Description

Robert Half’s client needs a versatile SAP Business Analyst to support an ongoing SAP ECC 6.0 implementation and optimization initiative. This is a hybrid role (with flexibility for remote) that involves close collaboration with GM and other internal teams. The Analyst will be responsible for assessing business needs, guiding the Materials and Finance teams, and supporting cross-functional SAP processes to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct scope definition and participate in project planning sessions
• Lead and participate in meetings to evaluate changes and their cross-functional impacts
• Perform impact analysis for any proposed system or process changes
• Provide hands-on guidance and support to the Materials team
• Assist with EDI-related questions and troubleshooting
• Offer insights and minor support across HR and Payroll modules, if needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience with SAP ECC 6.0, particularly in Materials Management (MM) and Finance (FI)
• Strong understanding of functional SAP processes—a “jack of all trades” with the ability to flex across domains
• Knowledge of EDI integration and support
• Experience or exposure to HR and Payroll modules is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment

Position: SAP Business Analyst

Duration: 1 Year Contract / 40 hrs. per week and tapering off over time.

Location: Hybrid – Dayton, OH (Remote option available if hybrid candidates are not available, remote candidate must be open to traveling and spending time onsite. Expected onsite first 2-3 weeks and traveling back often)
