Job Summary This position is under the direction and supervision of a licensed, registered dietitian nutritionist.The Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing nutrition care and education to patients and/or caregiver(s). Accountabilities Coordinates, reviews, plans, updates, and implements medical nutrition therapy to patients according to established policies and procedures. - 30% Monitors patients receiving nutrition support . - 25% Provide nutrition education to patients, caregivers, staff and community partners. - 15% Serves as a preceptor for medical, dietetic and food service interns and/or clinical research. - 15% Participates and serves on interdisciplinary team meetings, patient rounds, multidisciplinary committees and/or discharge planning. - 10% Assist with performance and quality improvement projects. - 5% Supervisory/Management Responsibilities This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
