Responsibilities

Cumberland Hospital is seeking a PRN Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering phones, directing calls, and performing other clerical duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member

- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member

- Take messages and relay them to the appropriate staff member

- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings

- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and photocopying

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 2+ years of experience in a medical receptionist or administrative assistant role (required)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

- Must be able to pass a background check
