Job Description

Position: Python Developer


The development team is responsible for the development of new application APIs using Python. The new application will be used for reporting and analytics as well as for financial planning activities.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire SDLC, have excellent communication skills and experience working directly with the business. They will need to be self-sufficient and comfortable with building internal networks, both with the business and other technology teams.


They will be expected to own changes all the way from inception to deployment in production. In addition to implementing new functionality they will use their experience in TDD and best practices to identify process gaps or areas for improvement with a constant focus on scalability and stability.


Candidate should be self-motivated, results oriented and able to multi-task across with different teams and applications. Further the candidate will need to work effectively with remotely dispersed teams as the role will require constant communication across various regional teams.



Required Skills:


3-6 years of experience in developing applications using Python
Should have hands on experience with web service development using Flask or Django
Experience with designing well documented APIs to internal standards
Strong experience in test automation frameworks like pytest & pytest-bdd
Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
Working knowledge of bitbucket, git, Jenkins
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies with a track record of high quality deliverables
Good communication skills and experience working with global teams

- Agile Methodology
- Self-motivated, be able to work independently as well as being a team player
- TM1 would be a great asset to have.
- Strong client service focus and willingness to respond to queries and provide
deliverables within prompt time-frames.
