Overview Gradex, Inc., a heavy civil construction company, is hiring a Project Accountant in Carmel, Indiana. Responsibilities Match tickets to invoices and scan/save to OCR and Egnyte. Ensure invoices are routed to the proper reviewers for approval. Verify material and trucking costs against quotes or lease agreements. Cost code and review project invoices for accuracy. Obtain W9s and ACH forms for new vendors, ensuring proper setup. Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed. Success Factors / Qualifications Preferred 2+ years of accounting or project accounting experience (construction industry experience preferred). Familiarity with accounts payable processes and vendor documentation requirements. Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Clear and professional communication skills with a collaborative mindset. Demonstrates integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling financial data. Compensation & Benefits Salary of $60K – $65K , depending on experience.
