  • Comprehensive, earned (on-the-job) knowledge of AV systems, lighting/electrics, stagecraft, and roles across a productions department (stage management, technical direction, sound engineering, lighting, venue preparation)
  • Experience working as part of the running crew of a live performance venue.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard best practices in lighting, audio, projection, seating, stage facilities, rigging, and special effects devices.
  • Ability to review technical riders for compatibility with the equipment, capabilities and staffing needs of the venues.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
  • Understanding of, and commitment to justice, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and diversity practices.
