Position Overview
The Production Control – Material Control role is responsible for managing the flow of materials throughout the production process. This position ensures that inventory levels are optimized, accurate records are maintained, and materials are available when needed to support efficient manufacturing operations. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production support.
 
What You Will Do

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to place orders, manage specification changes, and oversee the logistics chain.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track material movement within the plant.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and systems to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
• Perform regular physical inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies or shortages.
• Analyze data on inventory levels, lead times, and usage patterns to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations for handling and storing materials.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Purchasing Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in material control/planning, inventory management, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Experience in material control, inventory management, procurement, and/or logistics.
• Ability to clearly articulate, write, and present information to management.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency in English and Korean (business professional level).
• Knowledge of transportation principles and methods.
• Proficiency in SAP.

• Shift assignments may change to meet business needs.
• Adjustments will be communicated to employees, and accommodations will be considered.

• Domestic travel as required.
