Job title: Process Operator II

Shift Timing: Mid shift (10 am - 6:30 pm)

Duration: 6 months

location: Signal Hill California 90806

Description:

• Monday-Friday with potential Saturday work

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
• Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly
• Reads and clearly follows processes that are required
• Contributes to division results and performance
• Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations

CARBON:

• Bag products, samples and test
• Manage spent carbon feed to reactivate furnace
• Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility waste-water treatment plant

REGEN:

• Sort bottles by size and resin
• load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch
• Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks; evacuates bottle

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly to team members
• Ability to follow and read instructions
• Basic Math skills
• Some manufacturing/plant experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate Forklift
• Knowledge of computers
