Plant Manager
Location: Reedsville, WV
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Compensation: $110,000–$130,000 annually, plus:

• Generous quarterly bonuses.

About the Role
A national, multi-facility manufacturer of metal roof support products for the mining and tunneling industries is seeking a Plant Manager . This high-level managerial role involves overseeing production operations to ensure adherence to customer specifications and ASTM-F432 (USA) Standards, while optimizing efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate plant production operations.
• Develop and implement procedures to use materials, labor, and equipment cost-effectively.
• Maintain production schedules to ensure adequate inventory of raw materials and finished products.
• Uphold strict adherence to quality and safety procedures aligned with ASTM-F432 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Coordinate machine and equipment maintenance schedules to ensure seamless operations.
• Hire, supervise, and train employees on equipment and production procedures.
• Submit required reports to senior management and attend corporate training sessions to adopt innovative practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (required).
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in manufacturing (required).
  • Experience in forging/stamping (preferred).
  • ISO 9001 experience (a plus).
• Proficient in:
  • Understanding production principles and making data-driven decisions.
  • Developing production schedules and managing inventory.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Budget management and operational planning.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Using management software and basic computer literacy.
