Job Title: Pipe Welder

Job Description

As a Pipe Welder, you will be responsible for welding natural gas delivery products constructed from raw materials, ensuring adherence to blue print specifications and API 1104 certification standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Weld natural gas delivery products according to blue print specifications.
• Ensure welding processes meet API 1104 certification standards.
• Use stick welding and pipe welding techniques effectively.
• Read and interpret blue prints and mechanical drawings.
• Engage in fabrication tasks as needed.
• Perform welding tasks involving pipe welding, stick rod, and stick/arc welding.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in welding, particularly stick welding and pipe welding.
• Minimum of two years of experience in stick welding and pipe welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints and mechanical drawings.
• Completion of API 1104 certification test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in turntable welding preferred.
• Experience in overhead position welding is an advantage.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irondale, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
